When SpicyMatch contacted us the week of Swingathon, asking if we'd like to attend, our immediate response was a resounding "Yes!"
Swingathon, now in its fourth year, had joined forces with Fetfest and Onlyfest to create a unique gathering for swingers, fetish lovers, and content creators. With over 800 attendees, the festival promised live music, performances, DJ sets, and more, all hosted in the vibrant setting of Grantham.
Despite the initial excitement, our journey began with a few hiccups. Blush couldn't make it due to prior commitments, but Gush, ever the adventurer, enlisted the Wife, who was more than happy to join. However, true to form, we were fashionably late. Between childcare arrangements and the Wife's infamous time management, we set off on Friday only to be further delayed by traffic and a burst tyre caused by an open manhole cover. But nothing could deter us! After a tow and a quick tyre change, we were back on the road.
We finally arrived at 7:30 PM, greeted by the lively energy of Untamed Nights who showed us around, and the ever-gracious SpicyMatch team. Our excitement was momentarily dampened by the discovery that someone had pinched our tent. Thankfully, SpicyMatch came to the rescue, ensuring we had a place to stay for the night.
Once settled, we dived into the festival's vibrant atmosphere. The evening was filled with dancing, incredible shows, and bands that had everyone moving. The entertainment was top-notch, and the Sybian karaoke was an unforgettable highlight that left us both amazed and amused.
Throughout the weekend, we met some truly wonderful people. The warmth, friendliness, and helpfulness of everyone there made the experience even more special. We even had multiple offers from attendees willing to share their space if we couldn't get our tent situation sorted – a testament to the incredible community spirit at Swingathon.
As Sunday rolled around, we felt a pang of sadness leaving such an incredible event. Swingathon 2024 was an extraordinary mix of fun, connection, and unforgettable moments. We left with new friends, lasting memories, and a keen anticipation for next year's festival.
